Bosco Onyik Rejects President Museveni's Appointment As Newly Appointed Dokolo RDC

The Former Chairman of National Council of Sports Bosco Onyik has turned down President Museveni's appointment as the newly appointed Dokolo RDC.

Bosco Onyik who was given a new office as the Dokolo District RDC rejected the appointment immediately after President Yoweri Museveni announcement.

According to Onyik, he is not ready to take up the office because he was not consulted for the job.

'"I am not ready to take up the office and I was not consult for the job,'' he said.

He however, stressed that he is instead vying for the National Chairman of the worker's league.

"I am vying for the National Chairman of the worker's league instead of the RDC office," he stated.

On Tuesday, the President of the Republic reshuffled Resident District Commissioners(RDCs) ahead of Thursday’s general elections.

Among those who were appointed in the position of RDCs are; Odong Latek for Gulu District, Ocheng Osborne for Amuru District, Onyuk Andrew for Agago District, and Grace Otim Oleyowiya appointed as the deputy RDC for Nabilatuk District.
