The number of musicians engaging themselves in politics is highly increasing, Northern Uganda producer and gospel artist Kilama Richard P'Aguma aka 2GB has also stepped into the political ring where he intends to battle for Omoro District LCV seat come 2026 general elections.
The Atye Ki Gen hitmaker has joined the league of musicians like Badman Koda, Pr. Okidi Joseph, Obol Simpleman, Grace Olewinya, among others.
In a post circulating on social media, the producer declared his interest in contesting for the position to overthrow the incumbent Omoro District LCV Chairperson Okello Peter Douglas.
2GB Pro shot to fame in 2022 and he has collaborated with numerous artists. The producer turned singer has secured the party flag for the National Unity Platform.
