Popular musician cum politician Okeng BornTown was on Saturday May 3rd 2025 attacked and thumped by unknown goons who wanted him dead.
He sustained a serious injury but not life threatening one. He was taken to hospital and now is recovering from home.
Speaking to Okeng, the attack happened to him around midnight from his home district (Otuke) as he was returning home at midnight after their leadership meeting.
He said the attackers left him wounded with a deep cut in his lower left jaw and also confiscated some of his documents.
He added that it is a political fight after he showed interest in contesting for Otuke District LC.5 Chairperson comes 2026 general elections.
