Police in Gulu District are currently holding a renowned female artist and witch-doctor Maria A after she was allegedly caught red-handed bewitching fellow artists and some political leaders.
The singer was arrested yesterday by fellow artists after being alerted by the locals and she was apprehended to the authorities without being harmed.
The Kwo Wilobo singer was discovered with photos of musicians and a political leader like Bosmic Otim, Cool Boy, Tito Okello, Winnie BK, Tony Eii, Sylvia Owori Damalie, MP Lamwaka Catherine, among others.
The shocking incident happened on Wednesday 2nd April 2025 from Lukome village, Gulu District.
The singer has been detained at Awach police station as she waits for her charges.
