Multiple award winning dancehall artist Pato Loverboy has boldly sent clear messages to fellow musicians to concentrate on their art rather than fighting for government money.

While speaking to his fans on Tuesday at Walk Jam Session at Murphy's Lounge, he stressed his disappointment at those musicians who are fighting Badman Solo over the government funds.

"A musician doesn't concentrate on what he/she doesn't know. We just came to sing. A true musician concentrates on his art not making noise over government money,'' - he said.

"It's not written anywhere that Gen Salim Saleh is supposed to give money to musicians''

He also said that a real musician must concentrate on producing quality music and videos not making noise and running after something they didn't work for.

He further cautioned fellow artists from engaging themselves into fights that they don't know how it started.

According to Pato Loverboy, what made him make the remark is because they are being confused and misled because people normally come and tell them to do what they are not supposed to do as musicians.

It should be noted that earlier this year, social media was set ablaze with the internal conflict among the entertainers over Gen Salim Saleh money bag reaching to an extent where some of them were seen throwing insults at one another.

Pato Loverboy, however applauded the chairman Walk, Solomon Aboda aka Badman Solo for the great work he is doing by uniting all the creative from West Nile, Acholi Lango and Karamoja.

He urged him to continue with his work and should not allow anyone to intimidate him over the great initiative which will benefit all creatives in the Greater Northern region.

Pato Loverboy also distanced himself from a group of musicians who were protesting over the initiative, saying though he attended the meeting but he didn't act foolishly.
