Centenary Bank donated four 200L plastic wastes bins to Gulu University as token of appreciation for their great support to the development of the bank.
The bins handed over by the Chief Manager Corporate, Rashid Musisi Ssemanda and SME at the bank to the Vice Chancellor of the university Openjuru Ladaah on Friday, 6 September, 2024.
Musisi said they gifted the university the wastes bins because the institution is one of its valued customer and they’ve had good relationships over the years.
According to Musisi, this is in line with the bank’s Environmental, Social and Governance-ESG agenda which aims at improving the environmental and social well-being of the people they serve.
These wastes bins according to Musisi, will support proper waste management and maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene at the university.
Prof. George Ladaah Openjuru, the Gulu University Vice Chancellor while receiving the donations appreciated Centenary bank for the token and asked them to continue supporting the university as the institution reciprocates.
This is part of the activities being conducted as Centenary bank celebrates the 2024 Customer Appreciation Week by giving back to its customers.
