Police in Agago district are activitely hunting for a yet to be identified 16 year old boy for allegedly raping and killing of a 7 year old girl.
The juvenile who is a resident of Lokabar village in Kuywe Sub County reportedly committed the heinous act on Wednesday morning.
Otengu Justine, the L.C 1 Chairperson of Lokabar village said that the suspect and the victim are neighbours.
Otengu said that other children heard the suspect asking the victim to accompany him to pick Shea nut fruits at around 6:00am when all their parents had left home for farm work.
Otengu said the girl’s body was found at around midday by people returning from the garden adding that the deceased’s head was crashed with a big stick.
