A 40-year-old primary school teacher in Butaleja District has been arrested for allegedly sodomizing over 18 male pupils at the same school.
According to Police, Makhombe Robert a teacher at Mabale Primary school in Butaleja Sub County reportedly committed the beastly act on these pupils between January-May 2022.
Police say that the suspect was reported by the headteacher of the school, David Magson Nambula.
It is reported that out of the 18 pupils who are aged 7–12, 13 have already recorded statements to the police. They will then be taken for a medical examination.
